Doukhobor:    a word that has united thousands of people over hundreds of years, at times, for survival. Over time a lifestyle, collectively and primarily focusing on equality and non-violence came to be.

Their cultural landscape is as colourful and diverse as the individual people who have been part of the Doukhobor story.  Social customs, spiritual traditions, home decor, dress and food reflect the people who inspired them, the geographic areas where they lived or found themselves in exile. 

Through peaceful and turbulent times, they moved into the future, sometimes through consensus decision making and sometimes under the guidance of dynamic leadership.

This gateway to a massive collection of information on these people, unique to their times, will undoubtedly leave any pilgrim who chooses to venture into this world, inspired to walk their own life path towards a more peaceful planet for all.
